Mattawa's biggest party is here!

Mattawa Voyageur Days is back this weekend the fun starts today (Thurs).

Co-chair Jacques Begin says they have Fun in the Sun for the kids from 10 am to 4 pm with pony rides, sand castles, games and more. T

here’s also the Fishing Derby from 5 om to 7 pm and the Mattawa Reunion Bands on stage tonight at 7 pm.

Begin says everything is free today.

Meantime, there’s plenty on the go this weekend for the 18th annual festival.

He says there’s dinners, a golf tournament, helicopter rides, the Voyageur Market, a Live Thai boxing event and much more.

There’s also plenty of music with the concerts this weekend.

Some include Tom Cochrane and Red Rider, Dallas Smith, Paul Rodgers from Bad Company and Free, Firehouse, Vixen and Sam Roberts Band.

Weekend wristbands are $50.
