Team Canada 4x100mTeam Canada, including former North Bay Y Titan Dominique Bouchard will swim for a medal tonight (Saturday) in the final of the women’s 4x100m Medley Relay at the Pan Am Games.

The team finished 2nd with a time of 4:02.28 in this morning’s heat, giving them the 5th lane.

Bouchard swam the 1st leg for Team Canada, in a time of 1:01.18.

The final goes tonight just before 8:30.
 

On Friday, Bouchard missed the podium in the 100 metre backstroke final by 0.05 seconds, as she finished fourth.

She swam the race in a time of 1:00.54 at the Toronto aquatics venue.

 

On Wednesday, Bouchard won silver in the 200 metre backstroke.

In that race, she had a time of 2:09:74, just 1.52 seconds behind fellow Canadian Hilary Caldwell, who won gold.
