Shovel snow winter Get the shovels and snowblowers ready, a winter storm warning is in effect.

The forecast for the North Bay area is calling for 25 to 35 cm of snow, starting tonight and into tomorrow.

Environment Canada says current indications suggest the location of the heaviest snow will fall from the Bruce Peninsula northeast across Georgian Bay toward the Algonquin and Nipissing areas.
Officials say visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy and blowing snow.

They also say travelling conditions are expected to deteriorate quickly tonight as the snow arrives.
