Mayor McDonald meeting with a few provincial cabinet ministers this week

North Bay’s Mayor says they have some important meetings lined up for this year’s Ontario Good Roads Association Conference.

Mayor Al McDonald is in Toronto with hundreds of other municipal leaders and cabinet Ministers and says there are a number of issues they want to discuss.

He says that includes sustainable infrastructure funding.

McDonald says they have meetings planned with the Minister of Northern Development and Mines, the Minister of Natural Resources and the Minister of Business Services.

He says over the past few years at this conference have been able to work towards making Ontario Northland more sustainable.

McDonald says we’re starting to see that work pay off with the 30 positions for hire.
