NEW opp policeA 48 year old North Bay man has been charged with careless driving. 

This after an incident on Tuesday night near midnight close to the Wasi Scales on Highway 11 North. 

North Bay OPP say a soutbound vehicle entered the scale area to pass a snow plow that was also going southbound.

Police say the operator of the snowplow had to break so there was no accident when the first vehclce re-entered the highway.

Careless Driving is a contravention of the Highway Traffic Act.

Police say people should be patient when near snow plows as they are clearing the highways to make things safer for all travellers.
