Mother Nature throwing a mixed bag of weather at the North Bay area

Expect a sloppy mess with the mixed precipitation in the forecast today (Wednesday).

This after the major snowfall we experienced overnight. Environment Canada says a freezing rain warning continues for the North Bay area.

They’re calling for ice pellets and freezing rain before it all changes to rain. Strong winds are also in the forecast today, along with an afternoon high of 7 degrees.

That would surpass the 1991 record high for February 3rd, which is 6.6 degrees.

Meantime, all school buses across the district have been cancelled. Schools remain open.
