NEW opp policeAlmaguin Highlands OPP are investigating a fatal crash involving a snowmachine in on a trail near River Road in Joly Township.

Police say the incident happened just after 2 pm on Wednesday.

OPP say the snowmobile drove onto the soft snow along the edge of the trail and vaulted off a mound of snow and into several trees.

55 year old Brian Bradley of Machar Township died at the scene.

Police say the Technical Traffic Collision Investigator attended the scene and determined that speed was a factor.

A post-mortem has been scheduled.
