super-elite footballFootball fundamentals and mentorship.

That’s the focus for Super Elite Football which is running a camp this weekend in North Bay for local youth players.

Founder Nick Burns says whether players want to make it to the next level or just learn from the pros this camp is for them.

Coaches coming to North Bay include CFL Most Outstanding Canadian and former Calgary Stampeder and Miami Dolphin Jerome Messam, 6 time Grey Cup Champ and former Argos Head Coach and GM Adam Rita, Saskatchewan Rough Rider Hugo Lopez, Montreal Alouette Alex Charette, Presidents Trophy winner with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers John Rush and 35 year coaching pro Bob Rainford from Rainford’s QB academy.

Saturday’s session is for junior players ages 7 to 13 while Sunday is “Senior Day” for high school athletes.

Burns points out they have a group from Sudbury coming in, plus there’s local athletes from the North Bay area area.

There are still spots available.

The cost of the full day camp is $145 with registration online at www.superelitefootball.com (Northern Ontario camp).

The sessions are taking place at Ecole Secondaire Algonquin.
