Radiohead is negotiating with Lana Del Rey for a writing credit on one of her latest songs and when you listen to “Get Free”, you can understand why.  The Del Rey track sounds a whole lot like Radiohead’s “Creep”.  Del Rey claims she did not consciously lift the melody from them when writing her tune and says she has offered the band 40% of the publishing.  There have been reports that Radiohead wants 100% of the publishing for her song but their rep denies that claim.  Their rep also says the band has not filed a lawsuit but it looks like this one could go to court.  Ironically, Radiohead were sued by the songwriters of The Hollies hit “The Air That I Breathe” because of the similarity between the two songs.  The band now splits the songwriting credit with the pair that wrote the Hollies hit.  You can check out the similarities among all of the songs by checking out the videos below.
