On Monday, Rolling Stone confirmed that Fleetwood Mac has fired Lindsey Buckingham following a disagreement over the band’s upcoming tour. The show will go on, however, as original member Mick Fleetwood announced that Buckingham will be replaced by not one, but two new members: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell and Crowded House frontman Neil Finn. News of Buckingham’s departure initially broke when former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Billy Burnette shared an April 4 tweet that has since been deleted, saying: “Breaking news: Lindsey Buckingham is out but I’m not in.”  Tour dates have not been announced but are expected soon.
