North Bay and Area Community Foundation is Accepting Grant Applications

Charitable groups in the area are being invited to apply for the grants.

Executive Director Kate Merritt-Dupelle says they’ve given out more than $60,000 in grants over the past five years to various groups doing work throughout the community.

She says about $30,000 dollars was given last year alone, with just over $9,000 the year before.  

Merritt-Dupelle says groups like Discovery North Bay Museum, the Canoe Club, PADDLE, Literacy Council and more received these grants.

The application deadline is December 31st.

The grants will be awarded at the annual Foundation dinner in early May.
